At the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt, Zehnder presented itself as a systems supplier for heating, cooling and fresh air. The energy-efficient system design innovations include the new Zehnder OnFloor air distribution system, the Villeroy & Boch towel radiator by Zehnder Planus and the ZBN ceiling heating system.
2005
Zehnder sets new standards for radiator design with the Dualis product family. The steel radiator with aluminium front provides a high component of pleasant radiant heat and is suitable for bathrooms, living areas and object heating. The innovation received the Design Plus award.

Zehnder develops a product design that matches high aesthetic standards. Zehnder Art Deco and Zehnder Sculptur are the first design radiators on the market.

The strong market position is further extended by the fusion of Zehnder and the radiator manufacturer Beutler in Lahr.
The first towel radiator (Zehnder Universal) is introduced in the market. This was the first radiator that was developed with a secondary use in mind.

The company J.E. Stork Ringventilatoren in Zwolle, Netherlands, is renamed to J.E. StorkAir.

A German subsidiary is founded, due to high demand.

New markets are opened. Zehnder exports its pipe radiators to Germany.

Robert Zehnder invents the tubular radiator (Zehnder Charleston). The Zehnder tubular radiator was much lighter than the cast-iron radiators used at that time, had a better heat conductivity, was cheaper to produce and looked better.

The brothers Walter and Robert Zehnder develop and build a light motorcycle, large numbers of which are built over many years.

Jakob Zehnder founds a workshop for bicycles, typewriters, sewing and washing machines in Graenichen, Switzerland.
