Window ventilation is a waste of energy
Once-off, full window ventilation as well as careless, permanent window ventilation wastes valuable energy. This type of ventilation is now a thing of the past, because with Zehnder Comfosystems, the hygienically necessary air exchange can be permanently assured. The current regulations of the German Energy Savings Ordinance (ENEV) are fulfilled.
Energy efficiency
Energy in buildings is lost through the outside surfaces (walls, roof, floor) and window ventilation. The losses due to air heating amount to approximately half of the heating costs, even in a well-insulated building. These heat losses can be significantly reduced by using Zehnder ventilation systems with approx. 90% heat recycling. This saves 30 to 50% of the energy required, depending on the type of building.
